When you create a transaction, Folio will typically suggest an address. However, if the address is wrong or needs to be edited, you can update it after the folder has been created.
Please note that transaction folders for new construction or vacant lots require a few extra steps. Learn more about them here.
How to edit a Smart Folder’s address
You can change the address of your smart folder from the web app or the Folio Gmail sidebar.
Changing the address updates the address displayed in the timeline, but you may still need to update the smart folder's name as well.
Folio web app
Go to your Folio web page: amitree.com/folio
Click on the three-dot menu to the right of the transaction you want to update
Click on Edit Smart Folder
Change the address field
Optionally, change the folder’s name
Save your changes
Folio Gmail sidebar
Select your transaction
Click on the three-dot menu on the top-right of the right-hand sidebar
Click on Edit Smart Folder
Change the address field
Optionally, change the folder’s name
Save your changes
