Folio automatically sends weekly digest emails to keep you and your clients informed about upcoming transaction milestones. In this article, we will also explain how notifications work, making them more accurate and useful for your daily workflow.
How to use the weekly email digest
Go to the "Settings" page and locate the "Emails" section
For your own weekly summary, toggle on "Receive a weekly email of upcoming events". You'll receive an email every Monday with the week's scheduled events across all your transactions.
For client updates, toggle on "Send clients a weekly email of upcoming events". Your buyers and sellers will receive an email about their transaction each Monday, including the week's scheduled events.
Folio will automatically begin sending these weekly digests once enabled. Client emails include your timeline logo for professional branding, keeping your brand front and center throughout the transaction.
Ensure client email addresses are entered correctly in the transaction contacts so they receive their weekly updates.
What's included in digests
Weekly digest emails automatically include all scheduled events for the upcoming week from your transaction timeline.
Agent digests show events across ALL your active transactions in one consolidated email
Client digests show only events for their specific transaction
Events are displayed in chronological order with dates and descriptions
Both types of digests are sent every Monday morning
To ensure the most relevant information appears in these digests, keep your timeline events up-to-date with clear descriptions and accurate dates.
All calendar events automatically include the property address in the location field. This means when events sync to your Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar, you'll see exactly where you need to be.
Keeping calendar events for archived timelines
When archiving a completed transaction, you have the option to preserve calendar events:
Click "Archive…" next to the Smart Folder name
Select whether you want to delete the associated calendar events from my Google Calendar and/or delete calendar events associated with Anniversary reminders (uncheck to keep them).
Click “Archive” to confirm, or “Cancel” to exit without changes
This helps maintain a complete history of your transactions for future reference or compliance needs.
