BoldTrail BackOffice & Folio - Save Documents
Updated this week

This feature is available for Folio Pro and Team customers. It is in closed beta for BoldTrail BackOffice customers. Stay tuned for our full launch.

With Folio's BoldTrail BackOffice integration, we give you the power to manually sync documents from Folio to BoldTrail BackOffice. This saves you the hassle of saving the attachments to your computer and uploading them to your transaction.

Documents in Folio

Since Folio collects transaction-related emails into Smart Folders, we automatically sync any files that are attached to emails in your Smart Folder. You can view the files anytime in your Smart Folder’s Documents tab.

Pull documents from Folio into BoldTrail BackOffice

When you'd like to add a document from a Smart Folder to a BoldTrail BackOffice transaction, you have the option to select the ones you want to sync. We won't automatically clutter your transaction with every single document that's in the folder.

Anyone who has access to edit the BoldTrail BackOffice transaction can follow these steps to pull documents from Folio:

  1. In a transaction, under the Assets section in the left-hand side menu, click into the Unsorted documents folder.

  2. Click on the “Add document” button.

  3. Select “Pull from Folio” from the dropdown menu.

  4. You’ll now see the documents from the Folio Smart Folder, sorted by date.

  5. You can manually select the documents from the list or search for a specific document.

  6. After making your selection, click on the “Pull from Folio” button to add the documents to the Unsorted documents folder.

  7. The document can then be manually assigned to checklist tasks in the BoldTrail BackOffice transaction.

Please note: we will not sync any email attachments for emails that are manually added to a Folio Smart Folder.
