Manage your Team plan

This article is for users on the Folio Team plan for Real Estate.

As a Team plan subscriber, you can manage your team from the My Team page, as well as share your templates, resources, and service providers with other members of your team.

The My Team page has been refreshed with a cleaner, more organized UI and new search capabilities to help you find templates, service providers, resources, and team members more easily.

Who has access to this page?

All Team Members have access to the My Team page and can copy templates, services, and resources to any other team member.

Only the subscription admin, who owns the Folio account that the subscription was purchased under, can add or remove team members. The admin can also add more accounts to the plan and manage billing information from their account page.

Adding team members

To add a new team member, make sure they have signed up for their own free Folio account first. When their account has been created:

  1. Go to the My Team page

  2. Click "Add a Member"

  3. Add their email address and role

  4. Save

Can’t add team members?

  1. First confirm the email address they used to connect to Folio, or the one they have displayed in their Folio profile.

  2. If they don’t have a Folio account, they will first need to create a free one. Have them visit amitree.com to create their account.

  3. If they are a current paid subscriber, contact [email protected] for assistance.

Removing team members

  1. Click on the "REMOVE" button next to the member's full name line item

  2. Confirm your action.

Removing the team member revokes the user's access to paid Folio features. Please note, the account that creates a timeline retains control of the timeline. Timelines cannot be transferred to another account.

Using the search

The My Team page now includes search functionality to help you quickly find what you need:

  • Use the search bar in the Templates section to quickly locate specific templates

  • Find service providers by name or type using the search function and locate specific resources without scrolling through long lists

  • Quickly find team members by name or email

Simply click into any search field and start typing to filter your results.

Copy templates

  • Any team member can copy over templates to another member in the same Team plan.

  • Use the search function in the Templates section to quickly find the template you want to copy.

  • Please note, copying over the default Buyer or Listing template will replace the one the recipient already has in place. Custom templates will generate an old and new version.

Copy service providers and resources

  • Any team member can copy over service providers or resources to another member in the same Team plan.

  • Select the Resources or Service Providers tab to share these with team members, just like the Templates. Use the search feature to quickly locate specific items you want to share.

  • You can select all team members at once when copying a resource, instead of having to manually select each individual member. This makes it faster and easier to share resources across your team.

Disable folder suggestions for team members

If one team member will be the primary timeline creator, and then share each timeline with the appropriate members of the team, it’s important to prevent those other team members from creating their own timelines for the same transaction.

To prevent this, disable the toggle next to the names of team members for whom you wish to disable Smart Folder suggestions, so that they only use the designated timeline. Use the team member search to quickly find specific team members when managing these settings.

At least one person on the team must have suggestions enabled for their account.
