This article is for users on the Folio Team plan for Real Estate.
As a Team plan subscriber, you can manage your team on the My Team page. You can also share templates, resources, and service providers with your team from the respective pages.
The My Team page has been refreshed with a cleaner, more organized UI and new search capabilities to help you find templates, service providers, resources, and team members more easily.
Who has access to this page?
Access to the My Team page and the ability to copy templates, services, and resources are role-based. Members with the required permissions can copy items from the Templates, Services, or Resources pages.
Only the subscription admin, who owns the Folio account that the subscription was purchased under, can add or remove team members. The admin can also add more accounts to the plan and manage billing information from their account page.
Do you need to change the subscription admin? See how to transfer your subscription here.
Adding team members
To add a new team member, make sure they have signed up for their own free Folio account first. When their account has been created:
Go to the My Team page
Click "Add a Member"
Add their email address and role
Save
Can’t add team members?
First confirm the email address they used to connect to Folio, or the one they have displayed in their Folio profile.
If they don’t have a Folio account, they will first need to create a free one. Have them visit amitree.com to create their account.
If they are a current paid subscriber, contact [email protected] for assistance.
Removing team members
Removing the team member revokes the user's access to paid Folio features. Please note, the account that creates a timeline retains control of the timeline. Timelines cannot be transferred to another account.
Managing team templates, resources and service providers
Your Team plan enables real-time sharing of timeline templates, service providers, and resources across your entire team. When you share a resource, everyone with access sees the same version - no more managing multiple copies that get out of sync.
Timeline templates can now be shared with the entire team. When you share a template:
All team members see the same version
Updates happen in real-time for everyone
No more outdated copies floating around
Clear indicators show if a template is personal or shared
Disable folder suggestions for team members
If one team member will be the primary timeline creator, and then share each timeline with the appropriate members of the team, it’s important to prevent those other team members from creating their own timelines for the same transaction.
To prevent this, disable the toggle next to the names of team members for whom you wish to disable Smart Folder suggestions, so that they only use the designated timeline. Use the team member search to quickly find specific team members when managing these settings.
At least one person on the team must have suggestions enabled for their account.
