When you create a Smart Folder, Folio will typically suggest Key Words and relevant Contacts. However, if these details, or the folder name need to be edited, you can update it after the folder has been created.
How to edit a Smart Folder’s Settings
You can change the settings of your smart folder from the web app or the Folio Gmail sidebar.
Changing the name updates the smart folder name displayed in the timeline. Editing the keywords or folder contacts will alter which emails are included in the folder.
Folio web app
- Go to your Folio web page: amitree.com/folio
- Click on the three-dot menu to the right of the smart folder you want to update
- Click on Edit Smart Folder
- Change the relevant fields
- Optionally, change the folder’s name
- Save your changes
Folio Gmail sidebar
Install the Folio Chrome Extension.
- Select your Smart Folder
- Click on the three-dot menu on the top-right of the right-hand sidebar
- Click on Edit Smart Folder
- Change the key words, contacts or folder rules
- Optionally, change the folder’s name
- Scroll down and SAVE your changes
