Remove emails from a Smart Folder
Updated over 5 months ago

It only takes a few clicks to remove an irrelevant email from a Smart Folder.

Gmail

When you have an email open, you'll see the email's labels near your email's subject line. Simply click on the "X" next to the Folio Smart Folder label. The label will start with "Folio/".

Here's a fast way to remove multiple emails from a folder:

  1. Click into the folder.

  2. Select the emails from the message list.

  3. To select the emails, you can check the box next to each email. To select all of the emails on the first page of your folder, check the box on the lefthand side of the toolbar above the message list.

  4. Click the label icon in the toolbar.

  5. Uncheck the box next to the Folio Smart Folder. This will remove all selected emails from the folder.

Microsoft 365

If you're a Real Estate customer using our Microsoft 365 integration, and you have automatic email organization enabled, then we will move the actual email into the Folio folder. So to remove the email, you must move the email out of the Folio folder and into any other folder in your Microsoft account.

  1. Click into the folder.

  2. Select the emails from the message list.

  3. To select the emails, hover over the sender's avatar circle in the list of messages. You can click on the circle that appears next to each email. To select all of the emails, click the circle next to the folder's name, above the message list.

  4. Click on the "X" next to the Folio Smart Folder category tag to remove the tag. The tag will start with "Folio/".

  5. Click on "Move to" and select the desired folder from the dropdown menu.
