Why do I have more than one smart folder for the same client?
Folio is conservative and will suggest a new smart for what it thinks it is important.
Duplicate folders usually happen if the property address is referenced in different ways in your emails (i.e. address spelling variations, or the presence of unit number). The other common situation is if there is a client folder suggestion as well as a transaction (under contract) suggestion too; Folio may not initially understand they are both associated with the same client.
How do I combine multiple folders?
The easiest way to "combine" smart folders is by moving all the relevant emails to one smart folder and delete the duplicate smart folders.
